We’re dedicated to you
At the Summit Pediatric Feeding & Swallowing Center, our mission is simple: to help every child eat, drink, and grow with confidence. We know mealtimes can be overwhelming when feeding and swallowing don’t come easily—and that’s why we’re here.
Our team specializes in evaluating and treating children with feeding difficulties, sensory aversions, and swallowing disorders. Using evidence-based therapy and a family-centered approach, we partner with you every step of the way. From infants learning to latch, to toddlers exploring new foods, to children overcoming medical or developmental challenges, we create individualized plans tailored to your child’s unique needs.
We believe that mealtimes should bring joy, not stress. That’s why we blend clinical expertise with compassionate care, guiding families toward safe, positive, and successful feeding experiences.

Parent Coaching
At Summit Pediatric Feeding & Swallowing Center, we believe parents are the most important partners in a child’s feeding journey. Katherine is a pediatric feeding and swallowing specialist, dedicated to helping families of children with feeding challenges, oral aversions, and swallowing disorders feel confident at mealtimes. She has developed a parent coaching program grounded in the latest evidence-based approaches, giving caregivers practical tools to support safe swallowing, expand food acceptance, and reduce mealtime stress. With this guidance, families learn how to create positive routines, foster independence, and turn mealtimes into opportunities for growth, connection, and joy.
What makes us different
Patient-centered care
At Summit Pediatric Feeding & Swallowing Center, we take a truly holistic approach to feeding therapy. We know that mealtime challenges are never just about the food on the plate—they often involve a complex blend of nutritional, sensory, psychological, and mechanical factors. That’s why our care goes far beyond traditional feeding therapy.
Katherine brings a unique perspective as both a certified nutritional therapist and a pediatric feeding specialist. This dual expertise allows her to understand not only the mechanics of how children chew and swallow, but also how nutrition, growth, and overall wellness play a critical role in their progress. By collaborating with pediatric nutritionists, medical providers, and therapists, we ensure that each child’s plan addresses the whole picture—from safe swallowing and food acceptance to nutritional balance and family mealtime harmony.
Our integrated approach empowers families with practical strategies, evidence-based interventions, and compassionate support, helping every child build lifelong healthy feeding habits while reducing stress at the table.

What our patients say about us
"Before coming to Summit Pediatric Feeding & Swallowing Center, every meal with our two-year-old felt like a battle. He would gag on almost anything beyond purées, and I was terrified he wasn’t getting enough nutrition. Katherine made us feel instantly at ease. She not only helped him learn to chew and swallow safely, but also gave us simple tools to try at home. Now he’s eating a variety of foods, and I actually enjoy sitting down for meals with my son again. I can’t thank them enough for giving us peace of mind and making mealtime joyful."
From a Mom of a Toddler
"Our daughter has autism and extremely limited her diet to only a few foods. We were worried about her growth and how stressful meals had become. The feeding program here was a game-changer. The team understood both the sensory side and the nutrition piece, which made such a difference. With their step-by-step strategies and encouragement, she’s trying new foods weekly, and we’re no longer stuck in a cycle of frustration at the dinner table. It’s been life-changing for our family."
From a Dad of a Child with Autism
"Our baby was born premature and had trouble coordinating his swallow, which made every bottle feeding scary. Katherine carefully assessed him and taught us safe feeding positions and pacing strategies. She also guided us through thickening feeds and working with our pediatrician. The progress has been amazing—we’ve gone from constant worry to watching him feed comfortably and gain weight steadily. We’re so grateful to have this level of care right here in Park City instead of having to drive into Salt Lake every week."
